The prices were so high in the five days in September because people are getting ready for the Terry Fox Run and they they would want to start early because they want to keep on donating for a long time. This all so might be schools and businesses  doing fund raisers early to give people allot of time to donate. Also people want to donate early  because cancer has effected allot of people and killed them, so people want put an end to cancer as quick as they can. In October their might have been some people that did not donate yet. Web sites keep up the fund raisers up even after the Terry Fox Run. There might be some final fund raises for a little bit more money for donates. Some schools like mine, are doing challenges for ”the class with the most money…..” contest and it goes throe October. The Terry Fox Foundation might not of got all the money they needed so they are pushing us to give more so they can meet their money line or even just to get more because they had a small money limit.
